Test Engineer Specialist

Context of the Role

The consultant will contribute to the development of frontend and backend applications

within EIB-specific systems, supporting digital transformation initiatives under the Core

Lending Solution programme.

The roles focuses primarily on modern frontend development (React ecosystem), with

complementary backend and test automation responsibilities in an Agile delivery

environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using React and modern

JavaScript/TypeScript

• Contribute to backend services using Java (Spring ecosystem)

• Participate in application design, development, testing, and documentation activities

• Implement UI/UX designs into functional, user-friendly interfaces

• Integrate APIs and external services

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes (Azure DevOps preferred)

• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability

• Support test automation activities (functional, API, and workflow testing)

Mandatory Requirements

• Strong proficiency in English (B2 minimum)

• Senior-level experience in software engineering (as per framework agreement)

• Proven experience in React-based frontend development

• Solid experience in Java development
