AI-ML Product Owner

We are looking for:

We are seeking a AI/ML Product Owner who is passionate about building data-driven and AI-powered products. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, data science, and engineering teams, ensuring that AI/ML initiatives deliver measurable business value. You will define product vision, manage priorities, and guide the development of scalable AI solutions from concept to production.

What you will do:

• Defining and owning the AI/ML product roadmap, aligning it with business strategy, stakeholder priorities, and technical feasibility.
• Collaborating with data scientists, ML engineers, and business units to identify high-impact use cases and translate them into actionable product requirements and user stories.
• Managing the end-to-end product lifecycle for AI/ML initiatives, from ideation and proof-of-concept through development, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Prioritizing the product backlog based on business value, technical dependencies, regulatory constraints, and resource availability.
• Driving stakeholder engagement by communicating product vision, progress, and impact to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
• Ensuring AI/ML products comply with EU AI Act requirements, GDPR, and internal governance frameworks, embedding responsible AI principles into every stage of product development.
• Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for AI/ML products, using data-driven insights to inform decisions and demonstrate ROI.
• Facilitating Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives) and ensuring the team delivers iteratively and efficiently.
• Conducting market and technology research to identify emerging AI/ML trends, tools, and best practices relevant to the energy sector.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams (IT, Legal, Compliance, Operations) to ensure smooth integration and adoption of AI/ML solutions across the organization.

What you need to have:

• Experience in technical product management or software development, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML or data-driven products.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, model development lifecycle, and MLOps practices.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and manage product backlogs effectively.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and data engineering workflows.
• Knowledge of AI governance and regulatory frameworks, particularly the EU AI Act and GDPR.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex AI/ML topics to executive and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Good English knowledge (upper intermediate level).
