Senior .NET Engineer – FinTech

We’re working with a fast-growing technology business operating within the open banking and payments space, building infrastructure that powers a wide range of financial solutions behind the scenes.

Their platform connects businesses to multiple banks and financial services through a single API, removing the complexity of managing multiple integrations. This enables seamless access to account data, payments (both domestic and international), and enriched financial insights, all embedded directly into ERP and accounting systems.

Founded during the early rise of open banking, the business has evolved beyond its initial offering and now supports additional capabilities such as ISO-based payments, cross-border transactions, and other financial services. Their technology is used to power processes like supplier payments, payroll, and automated bookkeeping within existing business systems.

The Role

You’ll join a collaborative, cross-functional engineering team working on a modern, scalable platform built around .NET microservices. Initially, you’ll focus on gaining a deep understanding of the existing system, contributing to maintenance and support while working across different services and components.

As your familiarity grows, you’ll take on more complex development work, contribute to new feature delivery, and play a key role in evolving the platform. There is a clear path toward taking on architectural responsibilities as the system continues to scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Working across a distributed microservices platform
• Supporting and maintaining existing services
• Contributing to new feature development
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Helping scale and evolve a growing engineering environment
• Progressing toward design and architectural input over time

About You

• Strong experience with .NET / C#
• Experience working with microservices architectures
• Exposure to cloud platforms (ideally Azure)
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes beneficial)
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, evolving environment
