Cyber Security Engineer | Splunk | 12 Month Rolling Contract | Hybrid (Amsterdam)

CBSButler are partnered with a leading Cyber Security consultancy in the Netherlands who are delivering cutting edge security solutions to some of the most recognised organisations across Benelux, including EU institutions, major banks, and global technology leaders.

We’re now looking for a Cyber Security Engineer with strong Splunk experience to join on a long term 12 month rolling contract, supporting a high impact, enterprise scale project. If you're not interested but know someone who might be, please forward them this advert!

This is a chance to work in a high performing blue team environment, contributing to the detection, analysis, and optimisation of security monitoring capabilities for a major client.

You’ll be working alongside some of the Netherlands top Cyber Security experts, helping to enhance SIEM capabilities, threat detection, and overall security posture.

Working Setup

• Location: Amsterdam area
• 1 day per week on site
• Contract: 12 month rolling (long term engagement)
• Start Date: ASAP

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience as a Cyber Security Engineer / SIEM Engineer
• Hands on experience with Splunk
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) is highly desirable

Exposure to the following would be useful but not essential:

• SIEM Engineering
• IT Service Management (ITSM)
• Observability / monitoring environments
• Experience working in SOC or blue team environments is a plus
