Data Scientist

We are looking for 2–3 Data Scientists ideally with knowledge of and work experience from the electricity and energy sector.

Our client is looking for experienced Data Scientists who want to contribute to a cross-functional AI project focused on customer-facing services. The consultants will work within the Analytics/AI team, closely with other IT resources and business experts, to develop a customer chatbot within the clients Microsoft Azure platform that can handle both general and customer-specific questions.

The clients vision is to take a leading position in the electricity market and build stable, data-driven solutions that contribute to a sustainable energy system. We now need your help to get there.

Responsibilities

• Develop and work with LLM-based solutions and integrate them with existing AI agents
• Develop and evaluate AI and ML models used in the customer chatbot
• Utilize the clients customer, facility, and metering data, among others, to generate customer-specific answers in the chatbot
• Contribute to the solution architecture design
• Document solutions so that knowledge can be transferred to the clients staff
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders in an agile way of working

Required Skills

• Proven broad and deep experience in Data Science and machine learning
• Proven experience with machine learning resources in Microsoft Azure for LLM solutions
• Very strong knowledge of Python and relevant ML/AI frameworks
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data
• Understanding of model evaluation, performance, and cost considerations
• Ability to communicate technical solutions in a pedagogical and easy-to-understand way
• Proven experience from previous chatbot-related customer-facing AI and algorithm projects
• Experience working in the public sector
• It is considered an advantage if the supplier can provide a full team delivery
• Business Fluent in Swedish is a requirement

Preferred Skills

• Previous work in the energy sector, public sector assignments, or customer-facing digital services
• Experience with MLOps and deploying models into production
