What you'll do

• Brownfield projects such as migration project from monolith to microservices,
• Requires strong skills in Java, Java EE, JSF, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL,
• Understanding of REST, SOAP and JSON,
• Java/Spring and its components/Spring Boot development.

Who you are

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field,
• At least 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in building backend systems,
• E-commerce experience is a plus,
• Experience working in CI, CD such as Docker, Jenkins,
• Experience with messaging products like RabbitMQ, Kafka,
• Experience of Java/Spring and its components/Spring Boot development,
• General understanding in microservices is a huge plus,
• Working in Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches such as Continuous Integration, TDD, BDD, Infrastructure as Code etc,
• Experience with relational/non-relational Database Management Systems such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Couchbase etc,
• Preferably experienced in fault-tolerant and loosely coupled distributed architectures,
• Junit, PowerMock, Mockito test driven technologies,
• Experience in Kubernetes or Openshift, observability, monitoring, and resource optimization is a significant plus,
• Proficient in OOP, Design Patterns, Clean Code, Software Craftsmanship culture, Refactoring, Unit, and Integration Testing,
• Project or process management experience is a plus.
