UI/UX Artist

Rooster Games is a developer and publisher established in 2014, which has reached millions of users with successful mobile games across different genres. For our growing team, we are looking for new teammates for suitable positions in our current and upcoming game projects. This position is open to candidates located in İstanbul, İzmir and Denizli.

We are looking for a UI/UX Artist who can adapt to different game genres and design intuitive, user-focused UI/UX experiences that align with the game’s style. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, engineers, and art teams to design clear and engaging interfaces that enhance the overall player experience.

Responsibilities

• Transform complex game mechanics into simple, clear, and user-friendly interfaces
• Create high-quality UI/UX designs that increase player engagement
• Execute design processes in line with project goals, quality standards, and timelines
• Take an active role in all stages of the design process from ideation onward
• Design UI animations and micro-interactions to create a more dynamic user experience
• Proactively identify and resolve visual and user experience issues

Requirements

• Strong UI/UX portfolio (including game UI, interaction design, or animation examples)
• Solid understanding of UX principles and user-centered design
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and similar
• Strong visual design skills (composition, typography, color, iconography, etc.)
• Familiarity with Unity UI systems (Canvas, etc.)
• Ability to understand and apply the relationship between game mechanics and UI/UX
• Experience with prototyping and design systems
• Familiarity with MVP mindset and iterative development processes

Nice to Have

• Experience in motion design and UI animation
• AI-first mindset and active use of AI tools in production workflows
• Experience implementing UI inside Unity
• Basic knowledge of game audio design
