Position Overview

In this role, you will gain hands-on exposure to cybersecurity operations, support the team in daily activities, and develop practical knowledge in security, risk, and compliance processes.

What You Will Do

• Support the monitoring of security systems and help identify potential anomalies
• Assist the team with log analysis and perform entry-level investigations
• Participate in vulnerability scanning activities and learn related processes
• Support security documentation and reporting activities
• Gain exposure to access management processes and provide support when needed
• Support the implementation of security policies and operational procedures
• Gain exposure to incident response processes and provide entry-level support by following predefined playbooks
• Assist the team with data collection and basic analysis tasks
• Collaborate with security and IT teams on ongoing activities
• Gain exposure to internal audit and compliance processes and support preparation activities
• Contribute to security awareness and internal communication initiatives

What You Will Learn

• Security Operations (SOC) processes
• Log analysis and security event management fundamentals
• Vulnerability management processes
• Access management and IAM fundamentals
• How security operations function within a real-world technology company

Who You Are

• Preferably a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student (Computer Engineering, MIS, Cybersecurity, or related fields)
• Available to work at least 3 full days per week
• Interested in cybersecurity and IT systems
• Familiar with concepts such as firewall, endpoint security, or access management (preferred)
• Comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Eager to learn with a strong analytical mindset
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
