At Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, we are looking for a proactive and security-focused Cyber Security Specialist / Senior Specialist to join our team! Are you ready to protect critical systems, manage cyber risks, and contribute to a secure and resilient airport ecosystem?

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mathematics Engineering, or related fields,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Cyber Security,
• At least 3 years of experience in network operations or system administration,
• Hands-on experience in log management, log analysis, SIEM platforms, and correlation rule development,
• Experience with network security and access control technologies such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, WAF, Proxy, VPN,
• Experience in network traffic analysis,
• Experience in vulnerability management processes,
• Experience in malware analysis and/or working with sandbox environments,
• Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS security services,
• Knowledge of IT-related regulations, standards, and compliance requirements,
• Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and similar cyber threat frameworks,
• Experience with Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) sources and IOC / IOA analysis,
• Holding at least one of the following certifications is preferred: CEH, CISSP, CISA, OSCP, CCNA,
• Strong analytical thinking, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills,
• Ability to work effectively under pressure,
• Strong documentation and reporting skills,
• Eagerness to continuously learn and improve,
• Strong time management and prioritization skills,
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills,
• Advanced written and spoken English proficiency (minimum B2 level).

Job Description

• Leading security operations, attack simulations, and mentoring team members
• Managing and continuously improving the organization’s cyber security posture across infrastructure, applications, and endpoints
• Monitoring and analyzing security events via SIEM; detecting, investigating, and responding to cyber security incidents
• Performing threat hunting, attack simulation, and penetration testing activities to identify security weaknesses
• Developing and validating detection and defense scenarios aligned with MITRE ATT&CK and real-world attack techniques
• Executing incident response activities, root cause analysis, and supporting remediation actions
• Conducting security assessments for technologies such as WAF, EDR, IAM, PAM, Email Security, Cloud and OT Security
• Tracking current cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attacker techniques; proactively improving security controls
• Preparing technical and executive-level cyber security reports and recommendations
• Working closely with IT Operations, Software Development teams, external SOC, and security service providers
