Senior iOS Developer - Payments Platform:

On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a Senior iOS Developer - Payments Platform for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior iOS Developer - Payments Platform - Job Description:

This role involves supporting a high-profile, customer-facing payments project within the Canadian mobile banking development team. The candidate will innovate, design, and deliver solutions to enhance the mobile banking platform, focusing on seamless delivery, innovation, and stability.

Senior iOS Developer - Payments Platform - Responsibilities:

• Develop native iOS applications using SwiftUI and UIKit

• Implement architecture patterns like POP, MVVM, and reactive programming with Combine

• Work collaboratively in a team of 20 in a positive and collaborative environment

• Participate in onboarding and shadowing for training

• Engage in approximately 2 hours of meetings per day

Senior iOS Developer - Payments Platform - Mandatory Skills:

• 10+ years in Software Development

• 6+ years of experience with Swift programming language

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with SwiftUI and UIKit

• Experience with architecture patterns like POP, MVVM, and reactive programming

• Multithreaded applications experience with Swift Concurrency Async/Await and Combine

Senior iOS Developer - Payments Platform – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Unit Testing including Swift Testing, XCTest, Xcode instruments

• Working knowledge of WKWebView and SFSafariViewController for web solutions integration

• Experience with Accessibility/Voiceover, Dynamic type, and Dark mode

• Experience with Swift Package Manager (SPM)

• Experience with Snapshot Testing

Senior iOS Developer - Payments Platform – Assignment Length:

This is a 6-month contract position, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.
