Technical Project Development Manager

About the Role

Systems Limited – Middle East & Africa (Techvista) is seeking a Technical PM / Development Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications. This role combines strong technical leadership with delivery management, focusing on driving engineering teams, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and aligning technical solutions with business objectives. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end development lifecycles and play a key role in building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage software development teams to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions
• Oversee the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment and production support
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and actionable development plans
• Drive the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications
• Enforce coding standards, engineering best practices, and architectural guidelines
• Manage system integrations using APIs, microservices, and web services (REST/SOAP)
• Conduct code reviews and provide strong technical leadership and mentoring to development teams
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery
• Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and delivery bottlenecks
• Track development progress, manage timelines, and provide regular reporting to stakeholders
• Ensure proper documentation of technical designs, system components, and development processes

Required Competencies and Experience & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development with strong technical expertise
• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, Development Manager, or Engineering Lead
• Strong hands-on experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Java, .NET, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of system design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
• Experience in API development, system integration, and backend engineering
• Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and modern development toolchains
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and scale engineering teams
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
