We’re Hiring: Mobile Security Engineer

Location: Bristol

We’re looking for a Mobile Security Engineer to help strengthen and evolve the security of our mobile platforms across one of the UK’s leading banking organisations.

Our team is responsible for delivering a comprehensive mobile security capability, including security frameworks, penetration testing, and consultancy. Our mission is to build a scalable, adaptable, and proactive approach to mobile security—enabling engineers to operate with confidence in a constantly evolving threat landscape.

This role will be pivotal in designing and delivering a world-class mobile security framework and associated services.

What you’ll be doing:

• Enhance and maintain the security posture of mobile applications (iOS and Android)
• Lead threat modelling and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Conduct security reviews and penetration testing activities
• Develop and maintain security tools, scripts, policies, and procedures
• Provide guidance and consultancy on mobile security best practices

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience in mobile platform security
• Hands-on expertise in threat modelling and mitigation techniques
• Experience assessing and improving mobile application security posture
• In-depth knowledge of iOS and Android security standards

Desirable:

• Familiarity with mobile development and DevSecOps tooling
• Experience with testing and automation frameworks
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorisation, and cryptography
• Interest in researching emerging security threats and technologies
