  • Monitoring regulatory developments and working alongside the Head of Risk & Compliance in advising the partnership on the implications of new or amended legislation, guidance, and best practice standards.
  • Supporting the Director of Risk & Compliance in managing relationships with external regulators, auditors, and insurers, and coordinating responses to any regulatory enquiries or investigations.
  • Preparing compliance reports for the Management Board, highlighting key risks, incidents, and remedial actions.
  • Maintaining the firm's risk register, business continuity plans, and incident response protocols.

You

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in law, business, or a related discipline. You will have substantial experience in a risk and compliance role within a law firm, with a proven track record of developing and implementing compliance frameworks.

The candidate must possess comprehensive knowledge of SRA regulatory requirements, AML and sanctions legislation, data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), and professional conduct rules.
