Lon term : 12 months role
PR Holder / Citizens only
Your new company:
A progressive Victorian Local Council is undertaking a major enterprise-wide digital transformation to modernise its core corporate platforms. Central to this transformation is the implementation of a modern SaaS ERP platform (TechnologyOne OneCouncil), replacing multiple legacy systems across finance, procurement, HR and operational services.
Operating within a highly regulated local government environment, the organisation places strong emphasis on security-by-design, cyber resilience and compliance with Victorian Government cyber standards. This is a council that values innovation, accountability and protecting community data.
Your new role:
As the ERP Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a critical, hands-on role delivering cyber security outcomes across a large-scale ERP transformation and the broader ICT landscape.
Working across both business-as-usual technology services and the ERP program delivery team, you will ensure security is embedded throughout the lifecycle — from design and implementation through to operational uplift.
Your role will span SaaS ERP security, Microsoft cloud and identity platforms, cyber governance and assurance, and technical security implementation. You will also be a trusted advisor to program leaders and senior stakeholders, translating cyber risk into meaningful business insights.
What you'll need to succeed:
To be considered for this role you will possess the following:
- Experience in senior cyber security roles
- Strong hands-on experience across cloud and SaaS security, particularly Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
- Proven experience securing ERP platforms (TechnologyOne, SAP, Oracle, Workday or similar)
- Deep expertise in identity and access management, including Azure AD / Entra ID, SSO, MFA, RBAC and PAM
- Experience working within large transformation programs, not just operational environments
- Solid understanding of cyber frameworks and standards such as ACSC Essential Eight, VPDSS, NIST CSF and ISO 27001
- Ability to engage confidently with senior, executive and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in government or regulated environments
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or Microsoft security certifications will be highly regarded.
What you'll get in return:
- The opportunity to work on a high-profile ERP transformation with genuine community impact
- A senior, influential role where cyber security is treated as a strategic priority
- A collaborative, mature ICT environment with executive support
