Looking for Scrum Master - Brisbane/Hybrid

• You will be engaged with the QLD State Government, contributing to critical transport and infrastructure-related initiatives that support the delivery of essential services to Queenslanders.
• The organisation offers a professional, collaborative environment where agile ways of working are actively encouraged and continuously evolving.

• As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in leading and facilitating agile delivery practices across one or more delivery teams.
• You will be responsible for embedding agile principles, optimising ceremonies, and supporting teams to deliver high-quality outcomes through iterative sprint delivery.
• You will work closely with Product Managers, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to manage and prioritise backlogs, refine user stories, and ensure smooth sprint execution.
• The role also requires identifying and removing impediments, coaching teams to improve agile maturity, and applying a blend of Agile and PRINCE2 methodologies within a large, complex organisational environment.

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Lead in a large, complex organisation
• Strong practical knowledge of agile principles, Scrum ceremonies, and delivery frameworks
• Experience coaching and mentoring teams to improve agile maturity and delivery outcomes
• Ability to identify and resolve delivery impediments and manage competing priorities
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills
• Applied understanding of software development and release processes
• Extensive hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
• Degree qualification in a related field or equivalent industry experience
• Public sector experience is highly desirable
