Our client is an award-winning builder known for the delivery of construction projects across high end residential, industrial, hospitality & commercial sectors. With an attractive pipeline and well establish team in Sydney, you’ll be working across complex programs.
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to take ownership of complex, large-scale constructions from planning through to completion. This senior leadership role will see you drive outcomes, lead high-performing teams and act as the key contact for clients and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
As Project Manager, you’ll have autonomous control over projects from pre-construction stage through to handover, ensuring projects are delivered with maximum profitability and efficiency.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Take full ownership of projects from design development through to practical completion
- Oversee procurement, contracts, and construction programmes to ensure projects run smoothly
- Manage consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to align with project objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, authorities, and internal stakeholders
- Proactively monitor risks, compliance, and quality systems, addressing issues as they arise
- Prepare and present monthly progress reports, forecasts, and performance updates
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure WHSE policies are consistently applied
- Lead, mentor, and develop project teams to deliver high-quality results
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 + years’ experience in a Project Manager role within large-scale projects
- Experienced in delivering high-rise residential projects or Industrial projects
- Strong understanding of the Sydney construction market
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, including contract administration and reporting capabilities
