At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Backend Developer to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end web applications
  • Integrate front-end components with server-side logic
  • Implement core business logic and develop APIs
  • Design and manage databases, servers, and data storage solutions
  • Ensure application security, data protection, performance, and scalability
  • Maintain code quality, integrity, and organization, writing clean and efficient code
  • Troubleshoot, test, debug, and optimize applications to improve functionality and performance
  • Participate in system architecture and software design, taking technical lead on projects when required

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

  • Master's degree in IT and minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience (or Bachelor and minimum 11 years of experience)
  • Proficiency with back-end languages and frameworks such as Java, J2EE, PHP, Spring boot and Hibernate
  • Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools
  • Experience with business rules engines such as Drools and workflow engines such as Camunda, Flex etc
  • Previous experience with database technology such as Oracle, MongoDB
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN
  • Familiar with procurement budget implementation and/or procurement contracts management
  • Advanced English (C1) communication skills (written and spoken)
