Product Engineer
We're looking for an experienced Product Engineer who combines strong software engineering skills, product understanding, and ownership to build scalable, cloud-based solutions that support both our ambitions and the needs of our customers.
You'll join a team responsible for LHV’s customer data, access and limits systems – critical components that keep the bank running. It's a rare chance to be part of building new solutions that impact the whole group.
What You'll Do
- Build and improve banking platform functionality across backend services, APIs, and user-facing interfaces.
- Solve complex problems that require a deep understanding of the codebase, technical architecture, and system integrations.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for solving problems and challenging existing solutions.
- Contribute to technical discussions and product planning with ideas that help the product evolve.
- Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation and support less experienced engineers with technical guidance and constructive feedback.
- 2+ years of experience in full-stack software development. You are comfortable moving between backend (Java, Spring Boot) and frontend and know how systems fit together.
- Knowledge of containers (Docker, ECS, EKS) and AWS Managed Services (RDS, S3, SQS etc).
- A keen interest in leveraging AI to improve efficiency (we use Claude Code).
- Clear communication, initiative, willingness to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Proficiency in Estonian is a plus.
