Commercial Excellence Lead – Germany

Location: Germany | Hybrid


An international organisation within the medical devices sector is looking for a Commercial Excellence Lead to support commercial strategy and performance through data-driven insights and analytics.


This is a key role partnering closely with commercial leadership, helping translate data into actionable insights that drive business decisions, optimise performance, and support growth in a highly dynamic market.


The Role

You will act as the main point of contact for business intelligence, analytics, and sales operations topics, supporting commercial teams with high-quality insights and reporting.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering data-driven insights to support commercial decision-making
  • Analysing sales, market, and customer data to identify growth opportunities
  • Building and maintaining dashboards and reports using CRM and BI tools
  • Supporting forecasting, demand planning, and business planning processes
  • Driving segmentation, targeting strategies, and sales force effectiveness initiatives
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Global BI
  • Managing external data providers and integrating multiple data sources
  • Supporting CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce) and user adoption


Your Profile

  • Experience in commercial analytics, business intelligence, or sales operations
  • Background in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Excel)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional and international environment
  • Fluent in English and German
