What They’re Looking For

They are hiring a Node.js Full Stack Developer to join a high performing product engineering team focused on building and evolving modern web based software products.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning feature delivery end to end, from backend services through to polished frontend experiences, while working closely with product, design, and engineering stakeholders.

Key experience includes:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in commercial environments
• Strong hands on development with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Proven backend development experience using NestJS
• Frontend development expertise with Vue.js
• Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of MySQL, relational databases, and schema design
• Experience working with AWS cloud services and serverless architecture
• Exposure to LLM powered tooling, AI agents, or intelligent workflow automation
• Strong focus on clean code, maintainability, testing, and engineering best practice
• Comfortable working within Agile product delivery teams

Core Duties

The successful developer will play a key role in expanding an established product platform and delivering new capabilities across the stack.

Responsibilities will include:

• Building new product features across backend services and frontend applications
• Developing scalable APIs and services using Node.js and NestJS
• Creating reusable and responsive interfaces with Vue.js
• Integrating third party systems and external services
• Modernising legacy modules and improving platform performance
• Contributing to AI driven product initiatives and LLM based automation features
• Turning business challenges into scalable technical solutions
• Writing robust unit and integration tests using Jest and TDD methodologies
• Working closely with product and design teams to shape technical solutions
• Supporting architectural improvements and continuous product enhancement

Nice to Have

Additional experience that would be beneficial:

• Exposure to React.js
• Experience in modern SaaS or product engineering environments
• AWS Lambda or event driven architecture knowledge
• CI/CD and DevOps pipeline familiarity
• Experience influencing architecture and technical roadmap discussions
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Desire to grow within a high quality team environment with excellent progression prospects
