Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack Java & JavaScript)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer for a long-term freelance mission in Luxembourg. This role is designed for a "Product-Minded" engineer capable of delivering high-quality solutions across the entire stack.

You will play a key role in developing and deploying scalable applications using the latest Java standards and cloud-native architectures.

Technical Stack & Requirements

Frontend Development
Core: Advanced mastery of JavaScript and TypeScript (ES6+ standards).
Library: Extensive experience with the React ecosystem (Hooks, State Management, Performance Optimization).
UI/UX: Strong eye for design and user experience; proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 (Sass/Less or Tailwind).
Tooling: Experience with modern build and development tools (Vite, Webpack, npm/pnpm).
Backend Development
Language: Expert knowledge of Java 21 (utilizing modern features like Virtual Threads/Project Loom).
Frameworks: Deep experience with Spring Boot 3.x and Spring Cloud for microservices orchestration.
Data: Proficiency in both Relational (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and Non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
Cloud & DevOps
Environment: Experience deploying and managing applications within Azure Cloud.
CI/CD: Proficiency in automated pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.
Standards: Focus on clean code, unit testing, and robust documentation.

Assignment Details

Location: Luxembourg (On-site presence required).
Project Duration: May 2026 – December 2026.
Work Model: Hybrid (Approx. 60% On-site / 40% Remote).
Capacity: Full-time engagement.

Candidate Profile

Significant experience as a Full-Stack Developer in enterprise environments.
Ability to work autonomously in an Agile/DevOps culture.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical debt and architectural improvements.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
