I am currently headhunting for one of the world’s most iconic and highly regulated Virtual Asset powerhouses. As the first entity in Luxembourg to secure the VASP registration with the CSSF, they don’t just follow the rules; they help define the future of global finance.

We are looking for a Compliance "Heavyweight" who thrives in high-stakes environments. If you are a traditionalist looking for a quiet 9-to-5, this isn't for you. My client wants a tech-enthusiast who breathes Blockchain and is ready to tackle the complexity of MiCAR, DORA, and the next wave of digital asset regulation.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the EU Head of Compliance, you will be at the heart of the European operations:

• Regulatory Mastery: Own the compliance framework and ensure policies are ahead of CSSF and EU requirements (AML/CFT, consumer protection).
• High-Octane Monitoring: Drive the compliance monitoring plan (2nd line of defense) with surgical precision.
• Blockchain Analytics: Leverage cutting-edge on-chain analysis tools to investigate complex transaction patterns.
• Strategic Reporting: Be the bridge between the European business and the Board, providing crystal-clear risk assessments.
• Innovation Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor for new product launches in the fast-evolving Web3 landscape.

The Profile

The Group's CEO is a visionary who values technical excellence, resilience, and a "founder’s mindset". To match this DNA, you need:

• DNA: You are "Crypto-native" or deeply passionate about Virtual Assets. You have a "Founder's mindset": proactive, resilient, and mission-driven.
• Experience: 5+ years in a Compliance role within a regulated financial institution (Bank, EMI, PI, or top-tier Fintech).
• Technical Edge: Strong knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks. Prior experience or deep interest in Blockchain analytics is a major competitive advantage.
• Communication: Flawless professional English. French is a distinct benefit.
• Credentials: CAMS, CCAS, or ICA certifications are highly preferred.
