Cloud Engineer | Platform & Infrastructure
Design and operate cloud platforms in production at enterprise clients, while accelerating your engineering skills through weekly deep-dives, real project feedback and a structured growth track.
This is not a training program. You work in production from the start and develop yourself through real-world cloud and platform engineering challenges, guided by experienced Tech Leads.
What you’ll work on
As a Cloud Engineer, you design and build the cloud foundations that modern data and software platforms run on.
You work on:
- Designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure
- Building and maintaining landing zones and platform foundations
- Automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
- Setting up CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Ensuring security, reliability and performance of cloud environments
You don’t just configure cloud services — you build platforms that need to be reliable, secure and scalable by design.
Your environment
You work four days per week at one of our partner organizations, as part of a cloud or platform engineering team working on business-critical environments.
On the fifth day, you return to Xccelerated for:
- Advanced technical deep-dives
- Architecture and platform design sessions
- Feedback on challenges from your own project
- Guidance from experienced Cloud Engineering Tech Leads
This setup allows you to accelerate your growth while working on real production systems at the same time.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for engineers who want to build and understand cloud platforms — not just use them.
Must-have
- 2–4 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or Platform Engineering
- Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Experience with scripting or programming (e.g. Python)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
- Understanding of CI/CD and modern deployment practices
Nice-to-have
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with cloud networking and security principles
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tooling
You’ll thrive here if you:
- Like building systems that others depend on
- Care about automation, scalability and reliability
- Want to continuously improve your technical depth
What you get
- A strong salary and benefits package
- 25 vacation days
- A structured growth track with weekly deep-dives and coaching
- Direct experience in production environments at enterprise clients
- A peer group of Data, Cloud and Analytics Engineers
- Continuous support from Tech Leads on your real-world challenges
The process
- Introductory call
- Technical conversation
- Final interview
Fast feedback at every step.
