- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Solid software system design skills and architectural understanding
- Experience with event-driven systems and production environments
- Strong knowledge of Go and Python ecosystems
- Strong SQL expertise including schema design and optimization for high-load systems
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools and cloud platforms
- Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous communication patterns
- Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns
- Experience designing observability strategies including logging, metrics, and tracing
- Design and implement scalable and reliable backend solutions
- Conduct technical research and contribute to system architecture
- Collaborate across teams to deliver optimal solutions
- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Own the lifecycle of backend services including deployment and monitoring
- Mentor engineers and promote best engineering practices
