Our client is looking for an experienced Mobile Developer responsible for new feature development and ongoing maintenance of the existing iOS and Android mobile applications.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain existing iOS and Android applications using:
  • SwiftUI (iOS)
  • Jetpack Compose (Android)
  • Kotlin Multiplatform for shared business logic
  • Implement and maintain app infrastructure and integrations, including:
  • Kermit for local logging
  • Sentry for application monitoring
  • Firebase for remote notifications
  • Auth0 for authentication
  • Microsoft Clarity for analytics
  • Work in two-week agile sprints under the guidance of the Director of Product & Operations, delivering feature development, bug fixes, and maintenance updates
  • Translate UI/UX designs into functional screens and user flows, and collaborate closely to iterate and refine designs
  • Follow established software development lifecycle processes, including regular code commits, peer reviews, and security best practices
  • Deploy approved application updates to Test and Production environments
  • Manage app releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, addressing submission feedback, issues, and review requirements
  • Participate in scheduled penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, supporting remediation efforts as needed
  • Maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and code-level documentation




Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of proven experience developing native mobile applications for iOS and Android
  • Strong proficiency in SwiftUI and/or Jetpack Compose
  • Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform or shared mobile frameworks
  • Familiarity with mobile authentication, analytics, logging, and monitoring tools (e.g., Auth0, Firebase, Sentry, analytics platforms)
  • Solid understanding of mobile app deployment processes for the App Store and Google Play Store
  • Working knowledge of mobile application security best practices, including secure coding and vulnerability management
  • Experience working in agile development environments with sprint-based delivery
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices and mobile application security concepts
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, and operations stakeholders
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to maintain clear, organized technical records
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
