Our challenge

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Delivery Manager with strong Capital Markets and Banking domain exposure to lead Agile delivery across technology and operations teams. The ideal candidate will act as a servant leader, ensuring Agile best practices are followed, delivery milestones are met, and cross‑functional collaboration is strengthened within fast‑paced, regulated financial environments.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON is CAD $100k – CAD $110k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

Serve as Scrum Master and Agile Coach for one or more Agile teams within Capital Markets Technology and Operations

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives

Drive adherence to Agile, SDLC, and PMLC methodologies, ensuring consistent delivery outcomes

Partner closely with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Technology teams, and Operations

Remove impediments and dependencies to enable smooth and predictable delivery

Track sprint progress, velocity, risks, and metrics using JIRA and Confluence

Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives, Agile maturity assessments, and delivery optimization

Ensure transparency through clear status reporting, dashboards, and stakeholder communications

Support release planning, dependency management, and cross‑team coordination

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and quality delivery

Requirements:

8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master / Delivery Manager

Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), SDLC, and PMLC

Proven experience working in complex delivery environments

Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and stakeholder management skills

Strong expertise in Agile project and collaboration tools including JIRA and Confluence

Ability to influence without authority and manage distributed, cross‑functional teams

Strong problem‑solving, facilitation, and conflict‑resolution skills

Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMP, or equivalent Agile certification (mandatory)

Preferred, but not required:

Prior experience in Banking or Capital Markets, particularly within Technology and Operations teams

Exposure to trading, risk, settlements, clearing, compliance, or regulatory platforms

Experience in adopting AI‑enabled tools for delivery tracking, reporting, automation, or workflow optimization

Curiosity and initiative in exploring AI‑driven efficiency improvements within Agile and delivery processes

Experience working in regulated, enterprise, or global delivery environments
