About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate developer to take ownership of the LiDAR room scanning journey within our client's cutting-edge platform. This role is pivotal in enhancing scan quality, improving the accuracy of 3D models, and ensuring the overall stability of the LiDAR-to-portal pipeline. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and refining end-to-end solutions for mobile capture using LiDAR technology. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize 3D room reconstruction processes, troubleshoot existing issues, and implement innovative improvements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of mobile development, spatial data capture, and 3D rendering, contributing directly to the company's mission of delivering superior AI-driven solutions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and practical experience in the following areas:

• Extensive experience in building mobile applications utilizing LiDAR technology
• Hands-on experience with Apple’s RoomPlan, ARKit, and LiDAR APIs
• Proven ability to capture spatial data and convert it into accurate 3D room models
• Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS development, particularly for native LiDAR workflows
• Experience working with React Native, including bridging native modules
• Understanding of 3D rendering concepts and familiarity with 3D engines such as Three.js or similar
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to ongoing improvements
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex technical projects

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Owning and continuously improving the end-to-end LiDAR scan journey for mobile capture applications
• Developing and refining 3D room reconstruction processes using LiDAR data to render precise models
• Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues within existing LiDAR and 3D implementation pipelines
• Proactively implementing enhancements to improve scan quality, model accuracy, and system stability
• Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate new features and optimize workflows
• Maintaining high standards of code quality, documentation, and testing
• Staying updated with the latest advancements in LiDAR technology, 3D rendering, and mobile development frameworks
