About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior iOS Developer with expertise in Swift to join a dynamic team within an innovative medical technology company. This role is based in the Bracknell area with a hybrid working model, offering a flexible balance between onsite and remote work. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge mobile applications that directly impact users' health and wellbeing worldwide. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to deliver seamless, user-friendly solutions that meet high standards of quality and performance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in iOS development, with proven experience in Swift programming. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have extensive experience in developing and deploying mobile applications on the iOS platform, with a solid understanding of Apple’s development tools, frameworks, and best practices. Knowledge of RESTful APIs, UI/UX design principles, and version control systems such as Git is essential. Experience working within Agile environments and familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines will be advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are also required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and optimization.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and adhere to best coding practices.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve app functionality and user experience.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks proactively.
• Assist in the development of technical specifications and contribute to project planning and estimation.
