Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to contribute to the delivery of impactful ICT initiatives within a high-performing government environment. You will play a key role in shaping business solutions across a range of projects, including those involving emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, helping to improve services and outcomes at a national level.
Your duties will include:
- Facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to gather and validate business requirements
- Analysing and modelling current and future business processes, data flows, and user journeys
- Developing high-quality documentation including business requirements, user stories, and process maps
- Collaborating with technical teams to translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications
- Conducting research and analysis to support solution design aligned with policy and regulatory frameworks
- Evaluating solution options and contributing to strategic decision-making across complex ICT projects
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- Proven experience delivering business analysis artefacts in Agile environments for complex ICT projects
- Strong capability in developing user stories and defining acceptance criteria for technical teams
- Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops and producing process maps, data models, and use cases
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Experience in ICT service implementation and documenting requirements for enterprise technologies
- Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Azure DevOps, Dynamics 365, or Power Platform (desirable)
