Software Engineer

We're working with a large, well-established communications company based in Leuven, who are looking to welcome a Software Engineer to its growing team.

They’re building systems that operate at scale, platforms that quietly power how people and businesses stay connected every day. To support that, they’re looking for someone who enjoys solving meaningful technical challenges and takes pride in writing maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Build robust backend services using .NET, C#, and .NET Core
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features
• Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape scalable, future-proof solutions
• Write maintainable code with a strong focus on performance and reliability
• Take ownership of features from initial concept through to deployment and ongoing improvement
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and overall engineering practices

Your Profile

• Strong experience with .NET, C#, and .NET Core in a professional environment
• A solid understanding of software engineering principles, including scalability and clean architecture
• A proactive mindset - someone who doesn’t just build what’s asked, but thinks about how it can be better
• Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with open communication
• Experience with front-end technologies such as TypeScript, React, or Angular would be a strong plus
• A genuine interest in learning and staying up to date with modern technologies and best practices
