Senior Java Developer

Job Description

You will join the Risk Management Universe squad in the Workflow Enablement Tribe in Danske Bank. We are a newly established team working out of Denmark, India and Lithuania. The team currently consists of 5 people working on an internally developed application serving as a single point of entry for all non-financial risk assessments in the bank.

You will:

• Translate screen designs and prototypes into logical and physical data models.
• Develop business logic and create integration services.
• Manage environment-driven configurations using YAML files.
• Monitor application performance with tools such as Prometheus and Spring Boot Actuator.
• Tune logs to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server databases for application data management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver functional solutions.
  
  

About you:

• Extensive expertise in Java and Spring Boot, including RESTful services, configuration management, and actuator implementation.
• Proficiency in configuring setups using YAML files and managing environment-driven configurations.
• Practical experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Spring Boot Actuator, as well as expertise in log tuning.
• Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team-oriented environments.
• Clear and concise documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to keep up with evolving business needs and technical environments.
• Advanced English skills, both written and verbal
  
  

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 4960 EUR to 7440 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
