Information Security Officer – Edinburgh office based (hybrid)

Are you an experienced Information Security professional with a passion for safeguarding data and driving security initiatives? My client is looking for an experienced Information Security Officer to take charge of the Information Security programme and collaborate with colleagues across the local and International group.
In this key role, you will help shape and implement the Group’s Information Security strategy, ensuring robust data protection, security auditing, and cyber resilience. If you have a technical background, love improving security processes, and thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, we want to hear from you!
🌟 What You’ll Do 🌟
- Lead and manage the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- Define and maintain security policies and documentation
- Work with Data owners to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Lead ISO audits and security incident responses
- Drive security training, awareness programs, and vendor compliance
- Align with the Group Information Security Function to ensure cohesive policies and practices

📚 Qualifications 📚
- Significant experience in Information Security roles
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 and cloud environments
- Certifications such as CISM or CISSP are a plus, but not essential
