Frontend Developer (IPTV UI)

We are a technology company building scalable digital products and AI-powered solutions for our clients. Our team consists of 70+ developers, designers, and testers working on end-to-end software development projects. We focus on modern architectures, AI-assisted development approaches, and high-impact solutions across industries.

We are looking for a Frontend Developer who will take ownership of the frontend development lifecycle, contribute to the overall architecture and quality of our customer's software products, and bring a strong technical perspective to UI/UX implementation while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing UI/UX-focused interface applications across various sectors.
• Experience in designing and developing responsive UI for Web, Mobile, and preferably IPTV platforms.
• Experience in utilizing AI tools for coding and unit test generation.
• Strong CSS3 knowledge for building cross-browser and cross-device responsive applications.
• Professional and active experience in at least one framework such as Vue, React, Angular, or Svelte, with a preference for Vue.
• Knowledge and experience in WebAssembly and Progressive Web Applications (PWA).
• Experience in HTML5, Advanced JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS pre-processors like LESS or SASS.
• Experience with version control systems such as Stash, GitLab, or GitHub, Stash is preferred.
• Experience in using issue and task tracking tools like Jira.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in debugging and maintaining production software systems.
• Ability to accurately translate visual designs into high-quality code.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
• Residency in Istanbul and the ability to work in a hybrid, primarily office-based model.
• Experience in app development and custom launcher design for Android TV OS is a major plus.

What You'll Do

• Develop, test, and deploy user interfaces and frontend modules for IPTV applications.
• Collaborate with business partners and internal stakeholders to create high-quality, UX-centric, and highly interactive interfaces.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Build responsive user interfaces compatible with various screen sizes using modern frontend frameworks.
• Test and validate Proof of Concept (PoC) studies with engineering teams to determine optimal solutions and configurations.
• Take an active role in design, prototyping, coding, and code review processes.
• Participate in all stages of the product lifecycle including analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Additional Responsibilities Specific to IPTV / STB

• Develop performance-oriented UIs while considering the hardware constraints such as CPU, RAM, and GPU of set-top box devices.
• Design and implement interfaces optimized for TV screens and remote control navigation.
• Develop solutions while accounting for the limitations inherent in embedded browsers and WebViews on IPTV platforms.
• Constantly improve the performance, stability, and user experience of live IPTV applications.
• Collaborate with backend teams to optimize API integrations and data flows when necessary.
