People Operations Specialist – Norway

Are you ready to be part of a global company shaping the future of energy management and automation? Schneider Electric is a global leader in sustainability and digital transformation, supporting homes, buildings, data centers, infrastructure, and industry in more than 100 countries.

We are looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our Nordic–Baltic People Operations team, with responsibility for Norway. This role is ideal for someone with strong operational HR and hands‑on Norwegian payroll experience, who enjoys variety and flexibility in their day‑to‑day work. While Norway is a smaller setup locally, you will be part of a large regional People Operations organization. This means collaborating closely across borders and being ready to support a broad range of HR operational activities as needed.

Your responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers for People Operations.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including payroll, onboarding, employment changes, and HR campaigns
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems, ensuring high data quality and GDPR compliance
  • Coordinate employment documentation and support local HR processes in Norway
  • Contribute to regional HR initiatives, annual campaigns, and benefits administration
  • Support a wide variety of operational HR tasks, demonstrating flexibility in a local organization

What we are looking for

  • Hands‑on experience with Norwegian payroll and payroll input preparation
  • Experience working in HR Operations, People Operations, or HR Service Delivery
  • Comfortable working flexibly and supporting multiple HR topics in a local environment
  • Understanding of end‑to‑end HR processes and how they connect with payroll and annual cycles
  • Experience from an international matrix organization is an advantage
  • Professional fluency in Norwegian and English
  • Familiarity with Norwegian labour law and collective agreements is a plus.
  • High attention to detail, strong sense of confidentiality, and ability to work independently while collaborating closely with others

What We Offer

We offer a workplace where you will play a key role in an established team. You will be part of an international, market‑leading company, surrounded by skilled specialists in a varied and dynamic role. We believe in the importance of personal development, learning, and well‑being. You will have freedom with responsibility and the opportunity to grow in the world’s most sustainable company!

If you have questions about the position, please contact Marlena Kulasinska, HRS Senior Manager - Nordic Zone, [email protected]
