Embedded Software Engineer

Software Engineer – Embedded Linux (Remote EU or Oslo)

We're looking for a skilled Software Engineer to help us scale an open-source platform for over-the-air updates in Iot and connected devices.

What You'll Do:

• Expand support for new Linux-based OSes and boards
• Integrate the platform with RTOSes and emerging hardware
• Contribute across the full stack: from design and planning to development, testing, and documentation
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and code quality discussions
• Collaborate with a global, mission-driven team

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in Embedded Linux development
• Strong skills in C++
• Familiarity with:
• RTOSes (Zephyr, QNX, FreeRTOS, etc.)
• Bootloaders (U-Boot, Grub)
• Yocto
• Embedded storage systems (eMMC, NAND, NOR, etc.)
• System integration and board support package development
• Solid communication in English (written and spoken)

Bonus Points:

• Experience with QEMU, Go, or Python
• Familiarity with backend services and RESTful APIs
