About The Role

We are seeking a talented UI Designer to join our dynamic team at Sugarfit. In this role, you will act as a crucial bridge between product development and design, ensuring a seamless user experience across all our digital platforms. Your primary focus will be maintaining design consistency, creating engaging high-fidelity UI components, and supporting cross-functional teams including design, technology, and product management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge health tech company that is committed to making a meaningful impact on metabolic health worldwide.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a strong foundation in UI design principles, including typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma is essential, along with experience working with established design systems. Candidates should have a keen eye for detail and the ability to adhere strictly to brand and design guidelines. Effective communication skills are necessary to articulate design decisions clearly and collaborate efficiently with team members. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, innovative environment is highly valued. Additionally, candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably with exposure to health or technology sectors, and a portfolio that demonstrates both aesthetic sensibility and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

Design Execution: Support the product team by creating high-fidelity UI components, layouts, and prototypes that align with project requirements and user needs.

Consistency & Systems: Maintain and contribute to the company’s design system to ensure visual and functional consistency across all platforms, including mobile and web interfaces.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to improve product delivery timelines and ensure design feasibility.

Iterative Learning: Actively seek and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and users to refine and enhance design solutions. Embrace an iterative approach to continuously improve user experience based on data and insights.

Research & Innovation: Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to bring innovative ideas into the product development process.

Documentation & Guidelines: Document design processes, standards, and guidelines to facilitate seamless collaboration and future scalability of design assets.
