Senior Software Engineer

Location: Remote (EU Time Zone Preferred)

Compensation: 20% Equity + Ownership (No salary until cashflow)

About Us

We are an early-stage software and digital agency building scalable SaaS products alongside client services. Currently at the ground floor, with a strong focus on execution, speed, and product-market fit.

We’re looking for a technical partner, not just an employee.

The Role

You will act as the founding SaaS developer, responsible for architecting, building, and launching products from scratch.

This is a zero-to-one role — you will own the full technical side of the business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development (Core)

• Build SaaS applications end-to-end (frontend + backend)
• Design scalable architecture from day one
• Ship fast, iterate faster

2. Technical Ownership

• Make key decisions on tech stack, infrastructure, and architecture
• Ensure performance, security, and scalability
• Set coding standards and best practices

3. Collaboration with Founder

• Translate business ideas into working products
• Contribute to product strategy and roadmap
• Work async but overlap with EU hours

4. AI & Automation (Preferred)

• Integrate AI APIs where relevant (OpenAI, etc.)
• Build automation workflows and smart features

Tech Stack (Flexible but Preferred)

• Frontend: React / Next.js
• Backend: Node.js / Python
• Database: PostgreSQL / MongoDB
• Cloud: AWS / Vercel / Firebase
• AI: OpenAI / open-source models

Requirements

• Proven experience building SaaS apps from scratch
• Strong full-stack development skills
• Comfortable working independently in ambiguity
• Ability to ship MVPs quickly
• Good communication (critical for remote EU collaboration)

• Interested in equity upside over short-term salary
• Has startup mindset (speed > perfection)
• Can handle uncertainty and early-stage chaos
• Bonus: prior startup or indie hacker experience

Compensation

• 20% equity + true ownership
• No salary initially
• Transition to salary + equity once cashflow stabilizes
