Job Description

About Qevlar AI

Qevlar is a B2B SaaS scale-up on a mission to boost the productivity of cybersecurity teams with Artificial Intelligence. We build an AI platform that transitions Security Operations Centers from reactive to proactive units through autonomous security alert investigations.

In Just Three Years, We Have

  • Raised a total of $44m in series-A & seed rounds from EQT Ventures, Forgepoint Capital and Partech
  • Deployed our solution with major Enterprises such as Sodexo and GlobalConnect, and leading MSSPs like Orange Cyberdefense
  • Expanded to the US market with a growing North American presence
  • Ended 2025 with a strong multi-million dollar ARR and ambitious goals for 2026

We're looking for a Product Designer to help shape how security analysts interact with complex investigation workflows.

What Will You Do

Core Product Design

  • Design investigation workflows that help analysts navigate complex decisions while maintaining context and clarity
  • Create data visualisations and prioritisation interfaces that surface the right insights at the right time
  • Build features that explain AI reasoning and decision-making to technical users who need to trust, and verify, automated findings
  • Contribute to multi-level views that provide appropriate detail for different user roles, from junior analysts to security leaders

Collaboration & Technical Engagement

  • Work closely with engineering teams to understand platform constraints and find creative solutions within those boundaries
  • Participate in technical discussions to ensure design feasibility
  • Collaborate with product management to translate user needs and business requirements into design solutions
  • Engage with MSSP partners and enterprise security teams to understand their workflows and pain points

Design Systems & Growth

  • Contribute to and evolve our design system, building reusable components and patterns for complex security workflows
  • Help maintain design documentation, style guides, and interaction patterns
  • Adopt and improve design practices, tools, and workflows alongside the team
  • Learn to balance consistency with innovation, understanding when to follow established patterns and when to explore new ground

Who You Are

Required Experience

  • At least 2 years of product design experience, ideally on complex or data-heavy products (security tools, observability platforms, analytics systems, developer tools, or similar technical domains)
  • A portfolio that demonstrates your design process, problem-solving approach, and attention to craft
  • Experience designing for users who work with complex information or make decisions under uncertainty
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments (startups, scale-ups, or agile product teams)
  • Familiarity with contributing to or working within a design system

Core Skills

  • Solid understanding of user research fundamentals: conducting interviews, usability testing, and translating findings into design decisions
  • Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools
  • Strong UI skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with complex information architectures and data visualisations
  • Understanding of front-end development fundamentals and designing for dynamic content

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience designing for B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or cybersecurity products
  • Interest in or understanding of how to design for trust in AI/ML systems
  • Active use of modern AI tools to optimise your design workflow
  • Curiosity about SOC workflows, security operations, or threat investigation processes
  • Experience with graph-based visualisations or relationship mapping interfaces
  • A taste for shaping brand identities

How You Work

  • You're not put off by ambiguity, you see it as a chance to figure things out and create impact.
  • You're comfortable asking questions, seeking feedback, and iterating quickly.
  • You bring ideas to the table but remain open to having them challenged and you grow from it.
  • You're proactive and self-directed but know when to ask for help.
  • You're pragmatic about shipping, willing to deliver an 80% solution today rather than waiting months for perfection.
  • You care deeply about craft and are eager to keep raising the bar on your own work.

  • Make a real impact: your work directly improves security teams’ efficiency
