About the role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead solution and integration design for new and existing products.
• Evaluate technical feasibility, complexity, and risk for proposed initiatives.
• Be hands-on when needed: reviewing code, prototyping, exploring new tech.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and security standards.
• Act as a technical challenger - questioning the “why” and designing the “how.”
• Maintain architectural documentation and drive continuous improvement.
  
  

About you:

Background & Experience

• Proven experience growing from Senior Software Engineer / Senior Developer into an architecture role.
• Engineering experience with a strong record of building complex, scalable systems.
• 3+ years working as a Solution Architect, Integration Architect, or similar role.
• Hands-on expertise in at least one major technical stack with willingness to stay technically active.
  
  

Architectural & Technical Skills

• Strong capability to evaluate, design, and validate solution architectures across multiple domains (backend, cloud, integrations, web).
• Deep understanding of system integration patterns
• Ability to challenge requirements, assumptions, and existing designs with constructive critical thinking.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and resilient distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud architecture principles (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices and automated quality controls.
  
  

Soft Skills & Collaboration

• Strong communication and ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear stakeholder language.
• Proven ability to lead architectural governance, run design workshops, and mentor developers.
• Comfortable engaging with product owners, engineering leads, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to defend architectural decisions with data, principles, and reasoning - not just opinion.

Monthly salary range from 5760 EUR to 8640 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
