Summary

My client is a Singapore-based family office managing capital across public and private markets, including private equity, venture capital, and other alternative investments.

They are looking to hire an Investment Analyst to support the evaluation, execution, and monitoring of investments across asset classes. This is a lean team environment offering direct exposure to senior decision-makers and the opportunity to be involved across the full investment lifecycle.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the analysis of investment opportunities across public markets, private equity, venture capital, and alternative assets
  • Build financial models, perform valuation analysis, and assist in assessing risk/reward profiles
  • Prepare investment materials, including summaries and memos, for internal discussions
  • Assist in transaction execution, including coordinating with external advisors and reviewing key documentation
  • Monitor portfolio performance and track relevant financial and operational metrics
  • Support portfolio reviews and provide inputs on potential portfolio actions
  • Conduct macro, sector, and company-level research to identify new investment ideas
  • Track market trends, industry developments, and relevant regulatory updates
  • Maintain portfolio records and assist in preparing periodic reports for senior stakeholders
  • Liaise with fund managers, banks, and other external parties where required
  • Support ad-hoc projects, including market analysis and strategic initiatives


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • 1–5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, asset management, private equity, venture capital, consulting, or a family office
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Understanding of valuation methodologies and investment frameworks
  • Interest in both public and private markets
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a lean, fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
