The Short Version
We need someone who can own the path from “deal signed” to “client is live and getting value.”
This is not a classic project manager role. You are not here to update trackers, book meetings, and ask people for status updates. You are here to run client implementations, keep technical work moving, translate between clients and developers, and make sure things actually launch.
About Returning.AI
We build gamified loyalty and retention platforms for CFD brokerages. Our clients are enterprise, paying US$60K-144K per year. We are a 10-15 person team based in Singapore, profitable, and growing.
Our product sits inside broker client portals and drives trader engagement through rewards, challenges, and lifecycle campaigns. That means real integrations, real operational complexity, and real commercial stakes. This is not generic SaaS.
Why this role exists
Right now, too much of the post-sale implementation load still sits with the founder.
That means jumping on client calls to understand their systems, figuring out whether an integration should run through API, SQL polling, or some messy workaround, chasing missing inputs, aligning internal teams, and making sure campaigns are configured properly after launch.
That does not scale.
We need someone junior in title, but sharp enough to take real ownership. Someone who can run with ambiguity, understand technical constraints, speak clearly to clients, and keep internal execution tight.
What you will actually do
• Own client go-live
Run implementations from kickoff to launch. That includes client communication, internal coordination, follow-ups, configuration decisions, and making sure nothing important slips.
• Map integrations
Every broker is different. Some have REST APIs. Some have SQL databases. Some have internal systems that were clearly not designed to be integrated with anything. You need to understand what the client has, ask the right questions, and turn that into a clear implementation path for our developers.
• Translate requirements into specs
Clients speak in business terms. Developers need specifics. You will sit in the middle and turn vague requests into concrete requirements, edge cases, and actionable handoff notes.
• Configure campaigns and workflows
This is not just a technical delivery role. After implementation, clients need help setting up rewards, challenges, and lifecycle campaigns that actually make sense for their audience. You will help them get the platform live and useful.
• Handle first-pass client issues
Clients will message us with questions, requests, and problems. You will take the first pass, figure out what is actually being asked, resolve what you can, and escalate cleanly when needed.
• Keep internal teams aligned
You will work directly with developers, design, QA, and the founder. Your job is to reduce confusion, not add process. If something is blocked, unclear, or drifting, you should catch it early.
Who we are looking for
- Singaporean / PR Only
- Bachelor’s degree required
Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related technical field.
- Technically comfortable
You do not need to be a software engineer, but you do need to understand APIs, databases, JSON, and how web products fit together. If a client technical lead starts explaining their setup, you should not be lost after the first two minutes.
- Clear communicator
You should be able to speak to both technical and non-technical people without sounding confused, vague, or overcomplicated. A lot of this role is about making sure everyone leaves a conversation with the same understanding.
- Organized under pressure
You may be running multiple client workstreams at once while handling live questions from existing accounts. You need a reliable system for tracking moving parts without turning every job into bureaucracy.
- High agency
If something is unclear, you dig. If something is stuck, you unblock it. If something is falling through the cracks, you catch it. We are not looking for someone who waits to be spoon-fed next steps.
- Comfortable using AI tools
We use AI constantly for drafting, research, analysis, and workflow compression. We expect you to be the kind of person who uses AI as part of how you work, not as a gimmick.
What this is not
- Not a classic PM role
If your idea of project management is mostly status updates and task tracking, this is the wrong job.
- Not customer support
You will handle client issues, but this is fundamentally an implementation and delivery role.
- Not a developer role
You need technical judgment, but you are not being hired to write production code.
- Not remote
This is a Singapore-based role.
