About The Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in automating CI/CD processes and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across multi-cloud environments. Using tools like Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Ansible, you’ll design and develop reusable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure patterns that work across different cloud platforms and application types. You’ll work closely with teams to improve self-service workflows and implement automated governance controls, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions.

About The Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in automating CI/CD processes and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across multi-cloud environments. Using tools like Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Ansible, you’ll design and develop reusable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure patterns that work across different cloud platforms and application types. You’ll work closely with teams to improve self-service workflows and implement automated governance controls, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrated expertise in industry-standard design patterns, architectural principles, and a comprehensive range of DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies.
- Exceptional ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly through well-crafted documentation and collaborative engagement with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven track record of working collaboratively to enhance engineering tools, optimize systems, and implement robust data security measures.
- Mandatory certifications in Azure DevOps, GitLab, and Terraform, ensuring advanced proficiency in these industry-leading tools.
- Deep expertise in integrating application and infrastructure security scanning tools into DevOps pipelines, with hands-on experience in unit testing frameworks, jFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, automated testing tools, and ServiceNow.
- Advanced scripting capabilities in PowerShell and Bash to automate workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and drive operational excellence.
- Solid understanding of scaled Agile delivery methodologies, enabling iterative development, cross-team collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Strong foundation in software development and engineering, leveraging hands-on coding experience to drive effective DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in rapid prototyping and proof of concept development.
- Understanding of ISM controls and essential eight principles.
- Australian Citizen with Baseline clearance is preferred, although the role is open for Australian citizens as well.
- Previous experience working with C4E and CoE is preferred.
