A leading organisation in the retail industry is hiring a BI Manager to drive data-led decision-making across commercial, trading, and operational performance.

This is a high-impact role sitting at the intersection of data, retail operations, and stakeholder engagement, ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex datasets into clear, actionable insight.

The Role

You’ll partner closely with commercial, retail, and supply chain teams to deliver insight that directly influences business performance.

Key focus areas:

• Owning end-to-end analysis to support trading, promotions, and retail performance
• Building Power BI dashboards that drive decision-making across the business
• Writing complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets
• Supporting commercial initiatives with data-driven insights and hypothesis testing
• Delivering clear, actionable reporting to senior stakeholders
• Collaborating with IT, data teams, and business units to improve data availability and usage

What they’re looking for

• Strong experience in SQL (complex querying, large datasets)
• Proven track record with Power BI (dashboarding & visualisation)
• Experience working with data warehouses (Azure / Hadoop preferred)
• Background in retail, commercial, or supply chain analytics is a strong advantage
• Ability to translate data into business insight for non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and impact
