About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects and project teams from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies (Agile and Traditional) with proven experience in managing ERP implementation and product development projects. In addition, you should possess a deep understanding of both the functional and technical aspects of ERP systems, software products, and business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple projects and teams from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Go beyond successful project completion by ensuring customer satisfaction, benefit realization, and long-term sustainment.
• Establish, develop, and continuously improve project management processes, standards, and procedures.
• Support the PMO in defining and promoting best practices, while ensuring adherence to relevant policies, operating procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans across all knowledge areas, keeping them updated with the latest information.

• Utilize multiple communication channels to ensure information is delivered, received, and understood as intended.
• Prepare accurate and timely progress reports in line with reporting guidelines to facilitate decision-making by senior management.
• Proactively identify, assess, monitor, and manage project risks and issues, escalating as per the defined governance model.
• Monitor internal and external factors that may impact projects, taking preventive and corrective actions as necessary.
• Plan and manage change and transition processes to ensure project benefits are realized and sustained.
• Define, manage, and monitor project success factors, acceptance criteria, assumptions, constraints, dependencies, risks, and issues to align with stakeholder expectations.
• Identify opportunities for continuous process and practice improvement, considering industry best practices, business process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity gains.
• Provide input and support to sales and presales teams during Tenders/RFPs.

• Assess project needs and select the most appropriate project management methodology (agile, traditional, or hybrid) to maximize benefits and overcome challenges.
• Manage projects across software applications, hardware, and infrastructure domains.
• Proven experience managing ERP implementation and product development projects with the required domain and technical knowledge.
• Strong stakeholder management skills: able to listen, understand, influence, negotiate, and align stakeholders to common goals.
• Skilled in conflict resolution to minimize project disruptions.
• Experienced in all project management phases—planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and closure—across all knowledge areas (scope, schedule, risk, communication, etc.)
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
• Advanced proficiency and hands-on experience with MS Project.

Domain Knowledge

• Strong background in ERP and business support systems.
• Knowledge of ERP and business applications such as HRMS, Finance & Supply Chain, CRM, SRM, Manufacturing, Logistics, Warehouse & Inventory, and EAM.
• Ability to manage product development projects, coordinating both functional and technical teams.
• Familiarity with SaaS, cloud, and on-premises solutions, including deployment models and related technologies in application development.

• Identify opportunities to enhance and support processes using AI-driven tools.
• Use AI tools to optimize the role activities and tasks to meet the business target relevant to AI adoption, process optimization, results improvement, time saving, and efficiency.

• Participate in AI-related training, workshops, and capability development initiatives.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10–12 years of project management experience in the software industry.
• At least 5 years of proven experience managing Agile projects.
• At least 5-7 years of proven experience in traditional (Waterfall) project management.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing ERP implementation projects.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience using project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, or equivalent).
• Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Education:

• Bachelor of Computer Science/ Software Eng. / IT
• Must have Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Advanced Project management certifications (e.g., PgMP, PfMP and Agile Expert)
