Talent Complete is looking for a Data Science Manager.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading and creating an impactful portfolio of data science and data engineering projects in the space of commercial analytics
  • Drive the design, development and documentation of reusable analytical solutions utilizing data science best practice
  • Lead a team of Data Scientists and Data Engineers to build and deliver analytical solutions in a sustainable manner
  • Be the point of contact for various stakeholders to understand business problems, propose solutions that are scalable and value-driven
  • Advice Business on how to structure the problems/hypotheses they want to address and convert it into a advanced analytics approach including machine learning and optimization components
  • Communicates the design, insights and value of the analytical solutions to a variety of audience, including key business leaders and technical communities
  • Ensure timely deliverables and testing for regular maintenance of solutions over time
  • Lead team with a culture of learning and coaching with a goal to elevate the technical acumen in evolving needs

Requirements (Must Have):

  • Strong foundations in math, analytics and computer science, knowledge of machine learning methods, statistical models, advanced data science programming.
  • 6-10 years of hands-on working experience and fluency in Python and SQL. Comfortable with scripting language such as bash.
  • Experience leading or managing technical teams to drive development of analytical products.
  • Experience writing reusable and maintainable code with version control and automation pipelines
  • Ability to transform a project from POC to production.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS or Azure), with preference to GCP services including but not limited to Compute Engine, Big Query, Cloud Run, and Cloud Composer.
  • Experience working with customer analytics and pricing optimization, and / or domain knowledge in global agri-business and food industry.
  • Creative and self-motivated. Demonstrate drive to learn new skills and influence others on the team to strive for collective progress.
  • Act as a leader in a global environment, take responsibility to consistently build better solutions both in technical quality and business impact.
