Full Stack Web Developer | Oslo | Energy Industry

My client is a software product team based in Oslo, building data-intensive enterprise platforms used by energy operators all over the world. Their stack is modern, their codebase is well-structured, and the team works on problems that genuinely matter, at global scale.

We're looking for a full stack developer to join the core application development team. You'll work across the whole stack: backend service logic, API design, and React frontend. Ultimately, building and maintaining the services that power their products.

What you'll be doing

You'll contribute to a TypeScript/Node.js backend and React frontend, design and implement RESTful APIs, and collaborate closely with product and platform engineers in a monorepo codebase. Code review is part of the culture, and they take it seriously.

What we're looking for

• Strong TypeScript and Node.js — you're confident here, not just familiar
• React frontend development
• RESTful API design and implementation experience
• Comfortable working in a monorepo environment
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL
• Proficient with AI-assisted coding tools
• A master's degree or higher in a relevant field

Nice to have

Kafka or event-driven architecture, GraphQL, Kubernetes, Azure, Nix. They're continuously evolving the stack (including a GraphQL migration underway), so curiosity and adaptability matter more than ticking every box.
