About the Opportunity

• A UAE-based organization is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to support data-driven initiatives and business insights. 

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured datasets
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and actionable insights
• Develop and evaluate basic machine learning models
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams to support business and analytical needs
• Document workflows, methodologies, and findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
• Working knowledge of SQL and database querying
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship, academic, or project experience in data science or analytics
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
