What You Would Do As Our Software Test Engineer
You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of cloud and mobile application software as part of our wireless lock product offering. As a member of the QA team, you will collaborate closely with various development teams. This role reports to the Test Lead within the Wireless Locks product unit.
You would also:
- Define and execute test integration activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop, review, maintain, and execute test environments, test plans, and test data, while also creating automated test suites and enhancing automated testing processes.
- Collaborate with the team to analyze test results and perform root-cause analysis of defects, ensuring corrective actions are taken to uphold quality standards.
- Advise the development team on effective testing strategies for various system features and interfaces.
- Establish best practices and tools to continuously improve software testing processes.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and a proven track record of successfully implementing automated testing (e.g., frameworks such as PyTest, Appium, Playwright, or Robot Framework).
- Substantial experience working as a Software Engineer or Test Engineer.
- Expertise in cloud service testing, preferably with AWS, as well as experience in mobile app testing.
