Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Java Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is the world’s largest organization of board-certified pathologists and a leading laboratory accreditation and proficiency testing program provider. The goal is to create a product from scratch that helps pathology organizations gain efficiencies, improve accuracy, and facilitate remote sign-offs and consultations.

The duration of the engagement is till the end of 2026.

Tech stack: Java, Spring, AWS, PostgreSQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch), Angular.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong experience with Java and the Spring Framework.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
  • Proactive and collaborative mindset.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum).
  • Good English communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with system design.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Background in healthcare-related projects.

Responsibilities

  • Build a new product for a client in the healthcare domain.
