Language requirements: English full professional proficiency

Experience requirements: Software/DevOps, SRE Engineer with 3 years experience focusing on cloud computing, container management and orchestration software

Gross salary range: EUR 56k - 70k/year if you’re in Austria

Employment type: no freelancing, full time

The Role: You are responsible for the availability and performance of our products, improving the resilience and monitoring technologies. By this, you set the basis on how our products should be operated. With a focus on technology, you'll get the chance to shape how the future of our solutions will look like. Your technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and collaboration skills are key to deliver a successful outcome.


Your Responsibilities

  • System Reliability: Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems and infrastructure
  • Automation: Develop automation for repetitive tasks such as system monitoring, infrastructure management, and deployment processes
  • Incident Management: Respond to incidents and resolve system and application issues with the development teams
  • Monitoring & Alerting: Design, implement, and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems to track system health and preemptively address potential failures
  • Security: Work closely with development, and ISMS teams to ensure smooth deployments, enhance security practices, and optimize response times
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Manage infrastructure using code, leveraging tools like Terraform and Ansible for scalable and repeatable system configurations


You're a fit if you have

  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Go, Python, Java, Typescript)
  • Cloud Expertise: Experience with at least one of the following cloud providers: AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container management and orchestration. Understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., DNS, load balancers, firewalls, VPNs)
  • Monitoring & Logging Tools: Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Datadog, or New Relic for monitoring, alerting, and logging. Familiarity with observability concepts like metrics, tracing, and logging
  • CI/CD Pipelines experience: Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment automation (e.g. GitHub Actions, flux CD, Argo CD)
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools (e.g.Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
  • Database Management: Experience in managing SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
  • Problem-solving Skills: Ability to diagnose complex problems in distributed systems and develop long-term solutions
  • Security Best Practices: Knowledge of security best practices and ensuring infrastructure complies with relevant standards
  • Strong communication skills: Collaboration across teams and knowledge-sharing. English is a must, German a plus
  • Proactive approach: Ability to identify potential issues and suggest improvements

  • You have experience working on large-scale distributed systems
  • You have knowledge of incident management and post-mortem practices
  • You have previous experience in a DevOps or Software Engineering role
